Sheldon Is A Sorry Biologist

I liked this week's Big Bang Theory.  There was hardly any Penny and Leonard action (phew!), and I think we got to see a new depth to Amy and Sheldon's relationship.  Sheldon was meant to take a vacation, but being the stubborn guy that we love (not me), he refuses to leave town or even relax at home with video games or some of those sci-fi shows he loves.  Instead, he works alongside Amy, insuring that it's going to be an interesting development.
Before I get into that, I just want to mention how funny it was to see Leonard singing the Black Eyed Peas.  Wow.  He's not going to win any karaoke contests.

Another noteworthy moment was when Raj reminisces about a great massage he had by a male masseuse.  Howard is not so enthralled by the idea of a man touching him:
[Howard] I don't think i could ever let a guy give me a massage.
[Raj] Really?  What was I doing to your neck last night while you were playing Xbox?
The best part by far was Amy treating Sheldon like a lab assistant when he decides to spend his vacation with her. He couldn't even wash the beakers properly!  Loved it!  Amy is the best addition to that show ever.  She doesn't back down when Sheldon exudes his superiority over others; this week she showed him that she is the one with all the biology know-how, and he could stand to keep his boasts of his brilliance to a minimum.   Sheldon's best evidence that he has the makings of a biologist were as follows:
I bought a tomogachi in 1998, and it's still alive.

That is impressive.  Those things are incredibly easy to kill.  And easy to want to kill purposely.  However, when Amy makes him put the scalpel where his mouth is, Sheldon literally can't make the cut and faints at the sight of his own blood.  Score for Amy!  To put the icing on the cake, Sheldon comes back later and actually says sorry!  Wow!  He must really love her.  Thankfully, Sheldon declares that next year he'll save everyone else the pain of himself and go to Epcot like he should have.  I really thought he would jump at the chance to go to Disney World (as he was so excited to go to Disney Land with Penny in a different episode), but I guess that seagull taking your hotdog is enough to send any sane person running far away from Florida.
I just wish that we could see the rest of Sheldon's week in Amy's lab.  I can't get enough of the Sheldon's ego blasting.  Who knows what other milestones in human decency that Amy could install in him?  Makes me giggle just as the thought of it.
